In their effort to develop a world-class red wine on par with their popular white wine offerings, the client had developed the ideal mountainside vineyards, hired the best winemaker available, and built a world-class winery.
STRATEGY
A marketing and branding campaign needed to express the spare-no-expense approach the clients had pursued with their winemaking. To position the new wine effectively, we encouraged them to step away from traditional wine-industry marketing solutions.
CREATIVE
As our proposed creative concept, we developed a leather wine label – never seen before in the wine industry. A vendor worked with us on this unique solution to select a rich, luxury color and explore ways to feature an embossed logo and contrast stitching.
RESULT
The result – although only a prototype – was a 3D solution in a 2D market that would differentiate our client’s product both in restaurants as well as in fine wine shops.
