The NSF faced the challenge of helping bring various government agencies into the Digital Age. Their mandate was to serve as a matchmaker between universities developing digital solutions and the government agencies in need of these new technologies.
STRATEGY
To reflect the digital component of the NSF’s message, we convinced them to discontinue their use of an annual print-based catalogue of white papers, project descriptions, and contact information. In its place, we proposed a solution that would maximize emerging interactive technologies.
CREATIVE
A fully interactive CD-ROM was developed that contained all project information, white papers in PDF, digitized video clips of interviews, and links to websites and email addresses. This multimedia solution was packaged in a new booklet a fraction of the size and weight of their previous print document.
RESULT
For three consecutive years, the interactive format we created helped position the NSF as a leader authority in helping bring the US governmental agencies into the Digital Age. The result was greater credibility among universities, and the creation of increased collaborations.
