In an industry that requires care and discretion when addressing cosmetic needs, our client faced the challenge of positioning a product for patients who had issues with acne in their 20s and 30s.
STRATEGY
Our strategy was to develop a powerful, memorable metaphor – both visually and with copy – that would allow for discussions of these skin conditions and the solutions that Obagi was offering.
CREATIVE
The creative concept called for imagining the surface of the skin as a landscape, while positioning the acne as a weed that could be removed. These images served as the basis for an entire portfolio for their product line.
RESULT
Within their comprehensive line of products, Obagi was able to call specific attention to this niche market, and gain attention among their target audience for a very credible treatment solution.
